Summary

Responsible for providing on-site cultivation in multiple indoor grow rooms. This role monitors and maintains the health and production of our plants, maintains quality control measures to ensure exceptional product; and, maintains the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of our plant production area. This role also ensures frequent sanitation of our grow facilities to ensure plant and personnel health and safety. Responsibilities of this role include:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Maintain sanitation standards in the cultivation/grow rooms
Use basic knowledge of cannabis cultivation/plants and plant knowledge in general
Use Metrc & Canix on daily occurrence.
Regular use of basic Microsoft Suite (excel, word, etc.)
Securing numerous Metrc Tags to their corresponding plants.
Works with the Propagation supervisor to finalize plant count per room in clone room.
Assist in collecting weights of plants on Harvest days.
Use Problem Solving and Critical Thinking skills daily.
Use and compute basic math/efficient in number organization.
Completing building walkthroughs to collect any new/not completed retirement or leaf waste sheets daily. (including their Metrc Tags)
Assist in VEG department when prepping for room Planting, such as, room layout/organization of strains, coco bag set up.
Coordinate with other departments for scheduling, time management, daily task information, etc.
Flexible in reading/following print and handwritten notes/directions
Keeping details, organized notes of process, procedures, and completed tasks.
Physical requirements include extended standing, bending, twisting, listing, climbing, etc.
Following detailed instructions and willing to complete repetitive tasks.
Conducting regular plant Audits to ensure that all plants are in their respective places physically and according to Canix and Metrc.
Ability to maintain high standards in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment. Moving from one task to another by pivoting and using checkpoints to remember where you left off.
Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
Perform other related work as required.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in medical cannabis industry is desirable, but not required.
Ability to prioritize safety practices and follow standard operating procedures.
Ability to take direction and complete daily tasks with minimal supervision.
Conduct oneself in a professional manner.
Communicate fluently in English (verbal and written).
Ability to maintain product accurately and efficiently.
Ability to communicate with other staff and associates in all situations.
Ability to adhere to the highest customer service with staff and the public at all times.
Ability to perceive and meet the needs of team members and management.
Punctual, professional, and able to communicate clearly with your managers and other staff.
Knowledgeable on strains, genetics, and cultivation practices.
Repetitive use of fine motor skills using scissors,.
High level of efficiency, patience, and flexibility.
Must meet and clear the state affiliation process.
The ability to identify cannabis varieties using visual and olfactory senses is highly desirable.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work may require prolonged standing, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and push/pull up to 100 pounds also use assistance (multiple people, forklift, dolly, etc.) when lifting/moving over 100 pounds. Frequent holding/grasping with the hands when loading and unloading equipment. Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate manicuring tools other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing. Requires adequate vision with the ability to see color and adjust focus.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed at a busy outdoor and indoor cannabis facility. The outdoor/indoor facility is exposed to the natural elements. Workers should be prepared for fluctuating cold mornings and hot afternoons weather, sun exposure, and allergies. Work may be stressful at times and may include dealing with difficult people and/or law enforcement. Available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events during harvest periods is required.
