Job Description:
- Key Functions:
- Visit farms of existing feed clients, providing services as required.
- Flock health observations
- On farm assessments (e.g., ventilation, feed, water)
- Barn management
- Program compliance auditing
- Resolve issues that arise with clients in a prompt manner.
- Represent the company at industry tradeshows and events.
- Complete, present and review performance results for clients.
- Assist in research trials.
- Assist in turkey barn management.
- Supporting role in ingredient and feed quality control.
- Managing customer data base.
- Other duties as assigned.
Abilities Required:
- Operate independently to manage client relationships and resolve problems.
- Strong communication skills to demonstrate value of services with existing and prospective
- customers.
- Strong attention to details.
- Display a strong passion for poultry production.
- Possess a positive attitude.
- Time management and organization necessary to operate in a fast-paced work environment.
- Computer skills required for documenting customer results and reporting to management.
- Ability to work irregular hours.
- Qualifications:
- University Degree/College Diploma
- Experience in sales or animal nutrition would be an asset
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Possess a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
